Ryan Metcalfe Contact CU Woodshop
About Ryan Metcalfe: Ryan grew up in Basking Ridge, NJ and first learned about woodworking in his middle-school shop class. The journey started when he made a shaker-style hall table in eighth grade, complete with mortise and tenon joinery and a dovetailed drawer box. That experience catalyzed his interest and appreciation for fine-woodworking.

Ryan joined CU Woodshop in September 2014 and is currently the Store Manager.

Kerry Jannusch Contact CU Woodshop
About Kerry Jannusch: Kerry Jannusch started at CU Woodshop Supply in the spring of 2015, in the Summer of 2016 he was promoted to Assistant Manager. And on January 1'st, 2017 he became a part owner of the business along with Ryan Metcalfe. He's looking forward to learning and growing as a person and woodworker alongside the business. Kerry is interested in playing guitar, board games, and hiking.

Kerry is currently the Assistant General Manager.

Mark Jannusch Contact CU Woodshop
About Mark Jannusch: Mark Jannusch grew up in St. Joseph, Illinois, just east of Champaign-Urbana. After graduating from high school he worked for a local engineering company for 20 years, during which he furthered his knowledge of construction techniques and technologies, while practicing and perfecting his woodworking skills in his spare time.

Mark then spent several years as a self-employed contractor doing a wide variety of remodeling and construction projects. In 2009, he and his wife Gayle, became two of the original founders of CU Woodshop Supply. Since that time Mark as been the Manager of The DreamShop as well as being our resident expert on hardwoods, and in charge of our lumber and plywood purchasing. Because of his extensive background in tools, carpentry, and woodworking, Mark is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to solving woodworking problems.

Mark is also the go-to person when that family heirloom needs a little repair.

Dave Wilson Contact CU Woodshop
About Dave Wilson: Dave is a retired industrial arts school teacher with over 40 years of experience. He is a jack-of-all-trades whose hobbies and interests include woodworking, construction, welding, electric wiring, and auto shop.

Dave was a valued employee at the University of Illinois. He has been instrumental in writing books and creating CD-ROM’s to be used as classroom resources in the various areas of mechanics and agricultural science.

Dave’s interests include woodworking, fishing, and travel with his wife and family. He has a passion for learning new technology, assisting others resolve project issues and solving problems.
